They are so thin I felt like they could cut me but that is unlikely

Be careful with these tongs. They are so thin I felt like they could cut me but that is unlikely. Oh, they aren't 12 inches long, they are 11 inches long. They actually did perform some tasks for me but I'm not real wild about these things. They're pretty cheap.

Practical, Looks Durable

Well done, very efficient, good quality stainless; super for fishing small bits from large batches of liquid. Wonton, for example. Or the bay leaves from soup. The pierced bowls are very helpful indeed. There is a smaller version, which is ideal for fishing olives / pickles / pickled herring etc. from jars where the desired item is surrounded by liquid. Since I only need one of each item, the other goes in the "Christmas stocking stuffer" drawer.

  • The relatively long length of these tongs may make them difficult to store compactly in smaller kitchen spaces, or to maneuver accurately when attempting to pick up smaller food items
