High Idle Control Kit by BD Diesel - Includes Wiring Harness, Tie Wrap, Hardware - BD Diesel 1036610 Review

This is a good switch but I don't know if it was me but I followed the instructions and when I installed it it turned on my Check Engine.

Installed on my F450. The instructions were clear and installation was easy. It worked as described. BD Diesel has developed a really good high idle control kit.

Self installed. Easy to connect and works perfectly. Delivery was fast. Ford should install on all of their trucks! In Colorado it was great to be able to warm up my truck quickly.

Worked like a charm on my 2006 Ford F350 6.0 Installation was easy but I had to extend a cable. Definitely helps the truck warm up in the winter, which is needed in colder climates or with a PTO.

Easy installation! Park the truck, apply the electronic brake, flip the switch and I'm in control of the engine speed. Connecting to existing cables was quick. To be honest the only problems were my old eyes and figuring out where I needed the switch. Works just as advertised. A good product.

I found this product completely unusable for its purpose. I was hoping to get a high idle kit for my truck, but after two days of chasing the Ford wiring (no fault of the product) I try to use it and the low idle and see nothing. I would not recommend this product, I would say find something else.

Probably one of the biggest fake ads I've seen. It is claimed to spin up to 2400. The highest is 1400. Metal mount so you can use it instead of drilling a hole in the dashboard that someone else used before. Makes me think it was a comeback. As I already have it fitted I will not be returning it but will never buy from this manufacturer again (sold by Revain).
