Love it! in beading and jewelry making

I love these tongs! They are great for working with soft metals! No tool marks! It was one of my best investments!

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • No insurance

Not useful in jewelry pliers

Sorry, the tips go far beyond the actual tool, creating a useless extension. Cannot grip or work with wire as there is no support under the silicone tips. I do not recommend

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • There are cons

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not as good as we would like.

plastic ends bent on the first day of use, not recommended. The ends of the plastic tips go past the metal of the pliers, allowing the plastic to flex and not break through the metal.

Pros
  • crafts, needlework and sewing
Cons
  • will write later

Not what I wanted

I thought the tips were thinner and more useful. I'm not sure I'll ever use this tool, especially for what it was designed for. I wanted to use grommets to twist the wire without damaging it for a wire wrap hanger and it's not strong enough and too slippery for the intended purpose.

Pros
  • Jewelry making tools and supplies
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Not too strong but good for wire that wears easily

I've had it for a couple of weeks and mostly worked with 20g wire. Very good for wire that wears easily - mine gives there a pair of flat spouts. Nylon pliers, which can sometimes damage the wire, but that rarely happens. The problem is that nylon is so soft that the wire cuts into it! The tip on one side looks like I used a saw and the tip itself could very well be wire cut within the next few months. I'll probably try a different brand next time. I love how soft it is but it should last…

Pros
  • Beading and jewelry making
Cons
  • not reliable
