The smell is very strong you don't need much as it is definitely greasy and I was surprised at how much as I have only bought one other type of beard oil so far this is home 99.David Beckham. Actually I just got the whole shabang. Brush, cedar oil and balm. It is impressive. I bought, blew and threw away some beard products, gave away brushes, gave away combs, poured oil in the sink or gave it to a friend. It's legal. The oil and balm are the best scented products I have purchased so far, the brush is shaped and feels really great on my face. This is a really great product. The product arrived on time in a beautiful box. I would recommend trying it. The oil itself is stored in a small dropper. It is easy enough to drip into the hand in the required amount. It moisturizes my beard without making it too greasy. After a few days of use, my beard is a lot less itchy and easier to manage. I have the same impression as another reviewer, it smells like a damp musty towel. It softens the beard and works for that very purpose! A few days since I started using this I noticed a musty smell and I thought it was my Diah towels or something that always smelled like mold. Then I realized it was beard oil. I love the oil for its emollient properties, I hate the smell, that's enough, I poured the rest of the bottle because I don't want that smell to surround me all day.

I like the smell. I tend to get itchy and a little sore when my beard starts to lengthen and this has helped get rid of that. The first order I received came in a small stuffed box. I loved this for travel as the bottle is glass. All orders after the original were just a bubble wrap dropper bottle. I don't need another box yet but I'm sure it will go bad over time and it would be nice to have a backup.
