I'm so glad I found and bought Beastie Bands for my two cats. Surprisingly, major pet stores don't have them. They are light but strong and resilient (made from the rubber material of a wetsuit). This is by far the best cat collar I have ever seen. Hidden Gem!

Two cats. You won't keep the collar on for too long, and I suspect the last one wasn't tight enough from the wearer. Another cat wore it for 4 years with no problem. Beastie groups are the ONLY way to communicate with cats. I've been using them for over ten years. Nothing else compares. For smaller cats, trim and gently tighten (1 or 2 fingers between neck and collar). For smaller cats I recommend 1 finger.

At first I thought this collar was excellent. It is attached easily and securely with a strong Velcro strap. Our cat seemed to take it well, although he didn't seem overly enthusiastic about it either. But after a week of wearing I noticed that it occasionally scratches the collar which I found to be feeble attempts to remove it. Not correct! I'm shocked there aren't many on the market! This collar is amazing, not only is it soft to the touch, it has the perfect balance of elasticity and thickness. The velcro is strong and didn't stick to my cat's fur, end up twisting or moving. I chose one of these collars over the detachable ones because I didn't want to worry about the buckle breaking.
