I don’t know how this leash has held up as good as it has! My 40lb pitmix is STRONG and this has endured being yanked out my hand and skidding on the street, it’s kept up with her trying to chase squirrels and try and play with other dogs on walks. It’s not heavy, I have taken It on long hikes so my dog can have more roaming room while still being attached and my wrists never seem to get tired. Awesome product

The leash at the tip ripped and it rolled completely inside. Now I can't use it and good thing I kept the original version of this same product so that I can walk my dog. Not soo happy with Beastron leash

We have two dogs, one weighs around 90 pounds and the other weighs around 97 pounds, and they are pretty much all muscle, they are great walkers except when they see a squirrel, and that is where the one flaw comes in, the handle is so small I can only get three fingers around it, and when you are walking two dogs at the same time and they see a squirrel and start pulling, it can get pretty strenuous on my three fingers, but if you have small hands this retractable lease is great, it locks…
