Perfect fit and easy installation

Having had to replace my rocker cover gasket a second time because the Auto Zone gasket failed after just a week, this part fitted perfectly. Compared to what I got from Auto Zone, this wasn't a problem when it came to reinstalling the valve cover. So far the oil has not flowed for 3 days. The previous one has licked around the corner.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • boring packaging

Everything arrived, everything works.

There are no problems here. Screw seals are definitely something of a project. Gonzo Tip: First notch the rubber on the old ones to loosen them from the screws, then lubricate the new ones with silicone. Place the gasket, rubber side down, on the back of the large 1/2" coupler, and then you can insert the screw and tap it in with a soft mallet. Anyway it worked for me.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • old

2001 Accord EX L4 Rocker Cover Gasket Kits

Quality replacement. If you haven't done this in a while, be prepared to pound out the old gasket. Tech tip: Before installing the cover: To install the screw gaskets, cut off the old ones, then using some grease or other lubricant, install the washers and gaskets directly over the threads and then screw them into one of the two shorter ones Screw holes available. He carefully guides the gaskets to the flared part of the bolt.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I won't tell

Gasket materials were good quality and I had no leaks after installation

Used this on our 2002 Honda Accord DX. It includes all the valve cover gaskets except for the rubber grommet used to bleed the valve cover. Gasket materials were of good quality and I had no leaks after installation. I added a pea sized amount of black Permatex RTV to the sharp corners where the valve cover meets the semi-circular area. The rubber bushings for the valve cover bolts were easy to install with a little lube. All in all it was a good value for money product.

Great quality and price

Appears to be good quality, comfortable fit. Good fresh tires. If your old gasket is old (mine was about sixteen years old), be prepared to spend some time removing it from the valve cover. Not funny. Anyway, this one went in very easily. I haven't had any issues with broken spark plug tube seals. Just be careful I guess? You have to hammer them into the valve cover though. As for the old washers, they need to be cut with metal snips or something else (Dremel?). Taking the commenter's advice…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not the best

Everything OK except spacers

Used on my 2001 Honda Accord 4 Cylinder (F23A4) engine with 200,000 miles. I did a timing chain and with that kind of mileage I know the seals were welded so I bought them in advance, the original doesn't leak. Of course, the original gaskets were rock hard and stuck to the valve cover. They burned up in no time with a heat gun or touch. Advantages. Cheap, especially compared to local theft. The valve gasket fits perfectly (make sure you put some sealant in the corners where the gasket sticks…

  • Nice to use
