Fits my 2006 Honda Element EX.

This is as expected. I came to order all my auto parts from Revain. It's worth waiting a day or two at a local dealership for half the price.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Leaked in 6 months

After 6 months, it started leaking at the engagement point of the coolant hose connector. Checked to see if the rubber gasket was there, but it shouldn't work. This is a bad design for a thermostat in my opinion. Why would you make a two piece thermostat that creates a failure point for leaks instead of just making a one piece design that eliminates this?

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • New Competitors Appeared

Didn't fit properly. best in thermostats

So I knew the thermostat in my car needed replacing. I bought this hoping it would work, but it didn't. I will say that the thermostat itself works fine if you can hold coolant, which I can't. laugh out loud. I replaced it with this thermostat/housing but found a large coolant leak. After some time I recognized the problem. The hose that connects to the nose of the body of this new thermostat is loose. Just to be safe, I reconnected the old thermostat to the hose and it was completely sealed…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Negative impression
