Works perfectly! best camshaft position

My 2000 Miata has lag when accelerating. I thought that might be the problem but it turned out to be a bad connection in the rubber hose just after the fuel pump in the fuel tank. But that's another story from everything I tried before solving this small issue. lol. This cam angle sensor is incredibly easy to install. It sits right on the front top of the engine and takes about 5 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one. As I said, it wasn't a problem, but I kept the new one anyway

Completely broken upon arrival.

These sensors often fail and are difficult to diagnose, but fortunately they are usually very easy to replace. Unfortunately only if the replaced part ACTUALLY WORKS. At least the car would start with a defective sensor, it would only show the typical symptoms. dodgy derating, loss of power on warm-up, and difficult warm starts. However, replacing the sensor does the trick. nothing. The car stops without success. I put the old sensor in and it lit up. Exchange for a new one, more of itโ€ฆ

My Miata drives again!

I was driving my Miata one day and noticed that it wasn't idling at 800 rpm but would drop to 400 and accelerate back to 800 rpm and then stall. Bad day. It was two or three times. I change the spark plugs but the problem persists. I installed a new PVC valve but the problem persists. I decided to go online and see if anyone else had this issue with a Miata (I have a 2002 Miata manual, 65,000 miles). I figured I might need a camshaft angle sensor and got one from Beck/Arnley. This solved myโ€ฆ
