🔧 Upgraded Beck Arnley 201-1788 Backup Lamp Switch for Enhanced Performance Review

It was easy and quick to replace the faulty reverse light switch which is located on the passenger side near the front of the manual gearbox housing. This was an easy fix as we didn't have reversing lights when the transmission was in reverse. With the car running and the parking brake on I unplugged the two pin connector from the original reversing light switch and put a jumper (clip) in both pins in the connector - both reversing lights came on - problem solved!

Purchased for Toyota Matrix XR 2005 2WD/Manual. Confirmed the old switch was defective by closing the circuit with a paper clip. I installed this part and the reverse lights did not come on.
