Good price? Anyway, for my connection

I couldn't find the size I needed at the hardware store to connect the water cooler and K40 laser so I ordered them here. I don't have a price to compare so I can only assume it's a good price compared to other brands/sellers who are almost getting 2 for 1. Personally it's very expensive for something so small, but I think it's considered an extra size so we pay extra. In any case, fit and quality are important to me. It works great by firmly connecting 2 different pipes together without…

Pros
  • works. Contains no lead. NOT FOR DRINKING WATER
Cons
  • Very expensive

Smaller than standard hose barbs

Purchased to eliminate the pipe fitting. I currently have two hose adapters screwed together. I can't use them for fuel lines on my boat as they violate USCG 183.558 as the smaller outside diameter on the 5/16 end is over 20 thousandths smaller than the inside diameter of the 5/16 hose. Connectors): 3/8 OD: .401 (.433) 3/8 Small OD: .363 (.384) 3/8 Barb Length: .707 (.937) 5/16 Large OD: .315 (.356) 5/16 Small OD: .291 ( .317)5/16 tooth length: .685 (.966)

Pros
  • Type: Repair/weld adapter for hose barbs. Adapter to connect a hose to a different diameter hose fitting
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Some of it on Revain... I tell you...

Unrealistic. The clamps are ALL too small for the 3/8 side (that's why you only buy these in the SMH kit 🤦‍♂️. The clamps only fit the 1/4 side. I had to buy the 3/8 clamps from the Charging. How annoying. The plug works very loosely though (again sms 🤦‍♂️) so you have to tighten the clamps a lot. Also very annoying. The only reason I didn't return it was a lack of time issue and I'm on the day went fishing I got them I needed them for my boat's fuel line for a fishing trip so I got them to…
