This product really works! Every stainless steel water bottle or insulated mug I've used these on looks BRAND NEW on the inside. I followed the instructions by dropping the hot water capsule. I soaked the really hard soiled bottles/cups overnight, swept the bottle brush and then rinsed thoroughly. Like I said, it looks shiny and new. I just received this item today. I got it to clean my hydration bladder (Camelback) because I ran out of Cammelback tablets and thought I'd try this cheaper brand. I've seen it used for coffee cups and bottles as well. I used a tablet on my old Contigo Coffee travel mug to see what would happen.
