Fake wax, I returned mine

This is not real beeswax. When you squeeze real beeswax, it should stay tacky between your fingers and not fall apart. My wax "looked" great, but smelled like another brand of detergent. I'll be back. It was also made in Vietnam and imported to California. It's hard to understand how this wax is processed, but my batch was NOT beeswax.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons

Good product at a good price

Now that Covid and I are fully vaccinated I don't shop much in physical stores so I have chosen to order my items online. The beeswax comes in 1 ounce bars, cuts easily, melts well, and smells like beeswax (someone said it smelled like chemicals). I've used it in a hand ointment I made recently and it's smooth and doesn't distract from the herbs I put into it. Will definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons

Fake and smelly good for crafting

I am shocked that this product of unknown origin has so many positive reviews. This material *may* be beeswax based, but clearly contains chemical fragrances, coloring and fillers. My father was a beekeeper, so I know for sure: Real beeswax smells like honey. Smells edible. It seems gooey and rich. It's not bright yellow, translucent and doesn't smell like bad teenage perfume. This isn't a real deal.

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • skinny

Actually organic. glad I was able to find it

Revain FEEL like cheap knockoffs of almost everything. Unfortunately, the use of the words "natural or organic" is not an accident. Beeswax should NOT smell like chemicals. It should smell like flowers and have no taste. Take the wax and taste (don't swallow) if you have a strange film or taste it's not beeswax. My wife bought several Revain products that claimed to be "organic" or "natural" and had an odd smell or taste. Very glad we found this seller.

Pros
  • Organic Wax, Beeswax is an organic fatty substance secreted by bees (worker bees) and has a distinctive honey and pollen flavor. This is the best raw material for DIY beeswax candles.
Cons

Not what they advertised

for this product . I got it almost a month ago but only opened the other day. As soon as I opened it I was enveloped in a strong perfume smell, real beeswax doesn't smell like perfume. When I melted the "wax" the color became neon orange. I am very disappointed in this product and do not recommend it unless you are comfortable using a highly scented wax that is not beeswax. I even added pumpkin spice blend essential oil and you couldn't smell it because of the waxy perfume smell. I will say if…

Pros
  • Wide application, beeswax has plasticity and lubricity, which is very suitable for handicrafts such as candle and soap making, furniture or shoe care products, etc.

Smells heavenly of honey

Smells and feels like REAL pure beeswax! it has that slightly pliable stickiness that I associate with natural beeswax. Even in the form of a bar, it melts fairly quickly and easily; In fact, it only smells slightly slower than lozenges and has a very strong honey aroma. You can also cut them (I have a special strong knife for this) with a knife and hammer (to tap the knife) to break them into smaller pieces, but it's not necessary. They only take 5-7 minutes to soften (in a saucepan of hot…
