Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

Good compact phono stage. Completely copes with its tasks, suitable for Soviet players. I don’t have a background, I didn’t need to ground it. It would be nice to add a button to turn off the power and adjust the input and output signal, but considering the most basic level of the device, everything is so good) In general, if the task is to connect a Soviet turntable to modern active acoustics, then this is what you need. Of course, there are similar models on Ali, even modified and cheaper.

Pros
  • Compactness, ease of use.
Cons
  • Power off button missing

I recently purchased an Audio Technica AT-LP60 turntable. It had a lot of issues, but the worst part was that it had horrible pulsing static when turning on the built-in preamp and there was no ground wire to reduce EMI (electromagnetic interference). I bought this post amp to try and fix a problem not knowing if it would actually help or not. Fortunately, this small, simple item has COMPLETELY eliminated the problem. The sound on the player went from statically stuffed and distorted to so…

Works well but you get what you pay for

Back in the vinyl world I needed a preamp to connect my turntable to a modern amp with only a CD input. At first I didn't want to pay a lot because I thought it would be kind of fun. (It's since grown into something more.) This thing does exactly what it's supposed to do; It amplifies the signal to line level so you can plug it into a non-phono stage input on your amp or receiver. If you just want to listen to records, that's fine. But in the meantime I have bought an old Sony TA-1010…

If it sounds good I like it

I will review my entire setup in one review (3 products) and post all three items. I hope this helps someone who is curious about what to buy and what works together. Let me upfront by saying that I am not an audio addict. If it sounds good, I like it. If it looks weird and I can't relax as intended, I don't like it. I used to have a 1959 RCA Victor box that sounded great but wasn't reliable. I switched to this setting for reliability reasons. I am using Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC (red)…

Simply an amazing little preamp at an amazingly low price!

Simply put, I'm amazed. I'm a music lover. It's not an elitist word. Webster defines him as someone passionate about high-fidelity sound reproduction. That's me in a nutshell. I have a large collection of vintage equipment, including vintage turntables, and I have several new pieces of equipment that I lovingly care for and enjoy on a daily basis. Every single day. It's a big part of my life and has been since I was a teenager. I have a newer Sony surround AV receiver. 100 watts per channel and

  • High test scores for grip and durability

First impression. for Receiver and Amplifier

Before I bought this amp I thought about building it myself. There are many phono preamp designs that are easy to find with a google image search. Many of the best have two op-amps per channel, plus some other active discrete components (transistors). I even looked at the service manuals for new and old receivers, as those manuals show the circuitry of the phono stage built into the receiver. So, curious to see what I find inside this device, I removed the cover. The scheme used is not special.
