    great for people on the go

    I love this device that allows me to watch TV on an old monitor. I travel a lot for work and am tired of streaming and watching on the small iPhone screen. This adapter allows me to stream to a monitor or projector which makes my entertainment so much easier. This is a lifesaver for those going to places where there are no TVs on short-term TDYs.

    GREAT CONVERTER - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

    HDMI in, but VGA in. You can also route the sound to the audio input of your monitor or amplifier. Although all these types of converters do the same thing, they are not all the same. I've had several with varying degrees of satisfaction. This one from Belkin is one of the best I've tested and will be the only one I'll buy from now on. Highly recommended.

    Easy Converter for Older TVs/Monitors

    Great little adapter for some older monitors/TVs. This is a one-way adapter, meaning HDMI can only be connected to a computer or streaming device such as an Apple TV, Roku, or Revain Stick. There is no other way! I don't know of any device that can do that. The adapter also has a place to run audio. So the device takes HDMI and converts it to VGA and audio input.

    If you have an HDMI output (e.g. on your laptop) and need to connect a screen or projector that does not have an HDMI input, but has a VGA input then you need that. A simple and great converter that also has a USB port. So if your signal is weak, it can use the USB line power to boost the signal. Simple but wonderful!
