For the price it should be expandable.

For the price you should be able to add a dual screen to the monitor. I had to go back and buy a VGA display port to get the dual screen I needed.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Don't waste your money

It works but not very well. Both monitors must be the same. There may be a dual extended display, but it's unknown how long it will last. I finally gave up. I ended up buying a graphics card that supports dual displays. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Audio and video accessories

Works with Linux (Ubuntu 16.04)

Works for Linux or at least Ubuntu 16.04. I have an NVIDIA Quadro K420 and I mirrored two outputs at first, but after updating the drivers to the latest version it worked. If you're having trouble setting it up on Linux, you can contact me at franques.antonio@gmail.com and I'll be happy to explain each of the steps I've followed.

Pros
  • Splitter
Cons
  • Socket required

The product itself is good and I probably would have given it 4 stars if the information hadn't been left out, if the description wasn't there and if it hadn't taken several tries and a few wasted hours of time to find out to get it running stably. The description says no external power is required, which is both true and false. It doesn't require a power source as it requires an outlet, but it actually comes with a USB cable that plugs into the device and your PC to power the device. I tried…
