This cable is so useful! I have a second laptop that nobody in my family likes to use because it has a damaged LCD screen (small black hole). but it's a workhorse that I don't want to get rid of just yet. I would say this cable set is very convenient for use with multiple cables. I usually like to have this to fix my computer. I usually have a monitor with an HDMI port, so I usually just plug the HDMI part for that into my monitor and if I have a device I try to fix it. I have all the cables I need to connect. This cable/adapter is very well made and looks like it will stand the test of time. This is the first Belkin product I've owned in years, but I'm very pleased with the build quality. It uses a USB power adapter (not included). They're easy enough to find cheap here at Revain. It should output 5 volts at 0.5 amps (or more).
