We've been using it for over 2 years and it's reliable, my son loves the bright red color. The helmet stretches as he grows although a little loose for a 2 year old but great for a 3+.

Ears go in the helmet. I always have to make sure that the child's ears are not broken. Purchase a different helmet like the one featured in the video featured in this listing with an ear piercing.

Good price. My son is 2 years old and he hates him. He also thinks it's a Pokeball and says "I choose you!" and throws it. And it stands up to that. The filling inside has sticky residue and pulls on hair so it wasn't good.

Every time our son goes outside and rides his little motorized tricycle we put this helmet on him. For such a low price I think it's great. I'm sure there are more expensive helmets that could offer better coverage, but I don't know. I like it and it works fine. It serves its purpose by protecting his head.

So I had no hesitation in buying this toddler Bell Shadow helmet for my son, knowing that it was a good value product, with some expectation of good quality from Bell as it is a brand.
