Stay on Track with the Bell Automotive 22-1-29015-8 Combo Clock, Compass, and Thermometer Review

The purchase was a waste of money. 1) The compass is not accurate. 2) The clock does not show the time correctly. 3) The temperature sensor is not accurate.

The compass only works in north and the clock does NOT work. It will settle down, but then it won't go past that point. Tried everything. just got back The temperature reading was TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, you need glasses to see.

so it won't stick to the dash with the velcro provided, just a little sun and it falls. it is not visible at night. The thermometer should glow in the dark. The thermometer should have an adjustment knob that is 12d higher than it actually is.

Who cares, the thermal readout is 15 degrees hotter than outside, the compass shows W for south orientation, E for north orientation. ) and the outside temperature is 73 degrees!

Product description includes day and night lighting, but this feature is not available when you receive this product. And I can't return this product because I threw away the packaging and stuck the base on the dashboard because the double-sided tape wasn't strong enough.

First of all I liked how it looked on my truck's dashboard. The reason I ended up returning was the annoying cheap rumble coming from inside the unit. It was a coil from a thermometer (ie without a mount). Every little bump made this thing rumble, I hate rumble. The compass was cheap and always pointed west. I would like a better option, I would buy.

Very comfortable but I installed them on my motorcycle and they are not waterproof. I should have expected that as they are intended to be driven in a car away from the elements. Either way, if you install this in your car you won't be disappointed. UPDATE After having this on my bike the clock just stopped working. I suspect it has to do with getting wet if it's not waterproof. Compass and thermometer work perfectly.

I bought this the other day because my car doesn't have a compass and I use my car compass to figure out where to park my SUV to sleep at the campsite so I wake up at the top in the shadows. here is my experience 1 - the compass is inaccurate, it always points west 2 - the temperature gauge is inaccurate and difficult to read even if it was accurate 3 - the watch doesn't show the exact time either.
