I have driven about 5000 miles since I bought this cover. It separates near the seam on the left side of the seat adjuster. This is an ordinary car seat, nothing out of the ordinary. I also had to use a binder clip to properly attach it to the seat base otherwise it would slide off the bottom every time I got out of the car. The latter is not of great importance, but the gap shows the poor quality of the material. I guess I could return it, but is it worth my time and Revane's headache? And…

With a little trimming I fitted it, very tight but very nicely, to the huge captain's seat of a converted van. I did NOT pull it over the headrest. I removed the headrest, put the cover on and then put the headrest back on. looks great, better than the picture, not smelly or scratchy like others have said. WARNING: SUPER LONG REVIEW. This is the second pair of seat covers I have ordered. Unfortunately, after a few months (when buying the original pair) the driver's seat cover started to tear and I let it go too far before finally attempting to sew it myself. Also, the little elastic loops that attach to the flap (which goes through the car seat) started tearing and the metal holes (which you attach to the elastic loops) came loose causing everything to fall apart.
