Good replacement for mid mount footpegs

Bought 2 of these to replace the mid mount footpegs on our new bikes that were locking up the pedals when reversing out of the garage. They are easy to assemble and the height can be adjusted. Just make sure to tighten all the screws carefully to keep everything in place.

Doesn't fit 20 " bike

I'm giving 3 stars because it's a great stand for the money but it didn't fit my child's 20" bike. It is written that it is adjustable from 20 to 29 inches. Both of my kids bikes are 20 inches. It's easy to assemble, but even at the shortest adjustable size, the bike stands fully upright and doesn't rest on the footrest. oddly the wheel falls. If you have a bigger wheel I have no doubts it will work fine. I had to return both.

Bell's instructions specifically state that it cannot be used on pivot FS bikes. The footboard is all steel and has no pad between it and the frame. The edges are semi-sharp and can cut into the aluminum triangle. I added two pieces of rubber to avoid scratches, see photo. I would give 5 stars if these rubber…

Very good, but also very bad on the one hand.

Actually works on a 16" Kent Maroon and White folding bike. If you have the 16" folding bike described you will know. But it can on any other folding bike may or may not work with 16" wheels. The bad news is that the footpeg spring is so strong that when you kick it up or down, the footpeg will move a little where it attaches to the bike frame "Quick wipe the paint off the bike frame. Bell really needs to fix this because I'm pretty sure a much weaker spring would work just as well. And a…
