🚲 Bell Draft Adult Bike Helmet with MIPS Technology Review

As an avid cyclist, safety is a top priority for me. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I know that the Bell Draft MIPS helmet is a great choice. The MIPS technology ensures superior protection in case of impact, while the lightweight design makes it comfortable to wear for extended periods. The only downside is that the straps can be a bit fiddly to adjust, but this is a minor issue given the overall quality of the product.

The new Bell Draft MIPS helmet arrived today. Excitedly I opened the box to find it was deep salmon/coral, definitely NOT fire engine red as shown in the picture. I'm not a fan of red so I usually don't care, but I chose this helmet specifically for my bike (it's almost all black with a few red highlights). So. I now have a helmet that fits well, seems comfortable enough, has good reviews, came at a good price, but I hate that color. decisions decisions. I will review my options within a week.

I used to pay $150 for a helmet, but I just needed a cheap winter helmet. I almost always buy Bells because they fit my head perfectly. I didn't realize how much they improved their cheaper helmets. To be able to get MIPS, quick head lock adjustment and a ton of vents, I'm blown away. One thing you do miss out on are the quick-adjust straps, which aren't huge. The green color is also ideal for city traffic. I think the size is ambiguous in the description, it's what the bell usually says…
