Eat clear! suitable for receivers and amplifiers

After several weeks of breaking in and replacing the lamp with a gold lion-wow! A perfect separation of the soundstage horizontally and vertically, while adding a touch of softness that gives the system a bright tone is a nice complement. BRAVO!

  • Easy installation

Just perfect. suitable for home cinema

Excellent full analog preamp, my turntable SINGS with it. Better than the ones I tried twice the price. Made in the USA (except for the tube) is a nice bonus. Make sure you replace the hose with the cheap one that comes in the kit.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • sad package

That thing rocks! for receivers and amplifiers

I had a good transistor preamp that died on me. I replaced it with this thinking it was a bad and cheap substitute. boy was i wrong! That thing sounds MUCH better. I don't hear any of the coloring that is often associated with tubes. What I really hear is a much greater depth to the music. Sound comes out of my speakers. For the price, this is a winner!

275 dollars! Are you kidding me?

This thing sounds fantastic, not because of its price but because of its fantastic timing. I hooked it up to a solid state power amplifier and various sources in my home office or den. I wish it had a tape output so I could add a headphone amp, but you can't have everything. The sound quality is close to the high end tube preamp I had before I retired and downsized.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here

This little preamp is unusual.

The Bellari PA555 tube preamp is well built, reliable and compact. Grips and other hardware feel solid. I am running a "line" output from my desktop and from my "player" to this available preamp (it has 4 inputs). The music quality is crisp and clear. Dual triode upgrade to Gold Lion 12AX7. I'm very happy with the sound when I fed it directly into my power amp, but with the Bellari EQ570 audio equalizer the sound quality is even better! Tube preamp, this is a great buy.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Really good preamp!

I wanted to use an active preamp as an attenuator and buffer between the DAC and the integrated amplifier. Tried a cheaper one ($45-50) that was fine but decided to upgrade so I bought this Bellari/Rolls preamp. This one sounds a lot better and the build quality is better. I like to use a tube preamp for a tube tone as I don't have room for a tube amp, plus I live where it doesn't get too cold, typically around 74-80 degrees (I live in a six story building, upstairs). Floor). I like this preamp

5 stars for value for money!: Home Theater

I've been living with this Bellari PA555 for about 7 months now and I love it. Conclusion: For live sounding amps like my Musical Fidelity. M2si, this Bellari PA555 adds a pleasing depth and richness to the sound. Upgrading the tube to the gold-tipped Genalex Gold Lion 12AX7 ($50) makes the sound even deeper and richer with nicer mids. Upgrading the power supply to a Jameco Reliapro DDU150100D7051 transformer for about $20 offers a wider soundstage and more transparency. Using a standard power…
