Cheap Quality Shock Absorbers

As an Automotive enthusiast, I was disappointed by the quality of these shock absorbers. As my tests showed, they did not fit properly and made a lot of noise while driving. The only positive thing I can say about them is that they were cheap. However, their poor performance outweighs the cost savings. I would not recommend these shock absorbers to anyone looking for reliable and well-performing Replacement Parts.

Pros
  • Provides superior handling and control on the road
Cons
  • May not be suitable for off-road use

I would not buy

The blows did not last in vain. I haven't ridden dirt roads or towed anything with the shocks on. I would stay away from them and maybe go outside

  • Automotive
Cons

Does not fit, bad description

Claimed to fit 2500hd (nothing said about lower springs). The rear ones were squished but with the fitting kit the front ones definitely wouldn't fit. Did a little extra research (not in the Revain product description) and found that the Nitro "drop" shocks are for low trucks. Who lowers their truck anyway? Silly. But I bought the $40 set and thought it was a good deal, and now they're back in the box in my shed.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Update available
