VERY thin and light

This material is not bad, stretches well, but very very thin and light. NOT what you would call "velour".

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Too thin to use

Absolutely awful fabric. No velvet/velour at all. You can see your hand through the fabric. And not soft. Say you are a prostitute and you need a kinky see through shirt and a rough fabric on your skin, then this fabric could be perfect for you.

Pros
  • Sew
Cons
  • Easily torn

Great for a Santa Claus package!

I made a Christmas bag out of this to give presents. It turned out very well. Fairly thin fabric with some stretch, not much but it fits my purpose perfectly. Tied to U Pick 10 yards 5mm Revain twisted polyester yarn decorative satin rope. Next year it will be usable again.

Pros
  • Precut quilting squares
Cons
  • No instructions

Low quality fabric

This is a very low quality sheer crushed velvet - I use it for muslin garments to see how 'velvet' would work so is it ok. I originally intended to use it for clothing, but due to nature's low quality and transparency, I will not use the best quality velvet. I received the best quality pant and velvet from the fabric store so I will be returning to them for more colors. And I know you get what you pay for so I'm ashamed of the high expectations!

Pros
  • Quilting
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
