Works perfectly. Excellent value for money and quality.

My friend has an old Sony TV. She doesn't want to replace him as the picture is so good. Unfortunately, it doesn't have an HDMI port. This allowed us to effortlessly connect our new Blu-ray player to our TV. It only took a few minutes to connect and everything worked perfectly the first time.

Very effective for old AV equipment!

This product was a godsend for two of my friends: one wanted to add a Fire TV to his big CRT TV and the other wanted to add a phonograph to his HDMI only AV Receiver. I was able to successfully connect it to a TV and they were able to turn their old TV into a Smart TV using a FireTV Stick. My other friend was now able to play his vinyl. Wins in everything. 5/5

Works best in Accessories & Consumables

We used it to connect a Nintendo Switch to the rear entertainment system in a 2011 Honda Pilot. It was one of the few adapters that converts HDMI to an analog signal. Aside from a ton of cables in the car (which is inevitable), it worked great. The picture quality was good, but not outstanding. This was mainly due to the low resolution of the monitor in the car. Works very well and durable

So far I've tried this device with NVidia Shield Android Tablet HDMI out and 2nd Gen Chromecast. In both cases it worked very well with both the AV inputs of a modern 4K TV and an old NTSC TV. At first I had a few questions. Android Table didn't recognize the HDMI output until I restarted the tablet. The first time I connected the Chromecast, the TV only showed noise, but the second time it worked. I don't know what the problem was, but now everything works fine. The case is made of durable…

Defective factory version, only black and white image

Update: Changed to 4 stars because the company supports their device and it actually works. I emailed the seller and he quickly replaced the unit under warranty. I can now connect my Apple TV to the top screens on my GM SUV in full color via my car's rear AUX input. First review: I bought this adapter to use our Apple TV in the car on family trips. Unfortunately, I waited 30 days to try it and found that the device would only output black and white. I tested all the output resolution and color…

Works well when connecting a DirecTV Wireless Genie to a Sony Trinitron TV.

As my DirecTV Wireless Genie only has HDMI output and I had to connect it to an old Sony Trinitron CRT TV with AV input, this device turned out to be the perfect solution. It worked perfectly right out of the box! Luckily I had an extra USB wall charger handy as this unit only comes with a USB power cable. The picture is sharp and clear. I've only been using it for a day so far, so I'll update if anything changes. But overall a great product for the price.
