Only worked occasionally

Unreliable. I was trying to connect an old Dell monitor to Surface Dock 2. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it was an unreadable monochrome, or didn't work at all. I finally found another product that works great. . Assuming this product can work for you, great. But unfortunately it didn't work for me.

Doesn't fit my M1 Mac Mini

This was the second cable I bought to connect a second monitor to my Mac. It also didn't work in the Thunderbolt port. My third option, also from this company, worked. Computer.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

I just bought a new Mac Mini that doesn't have a monitor port. It was the perfect solution as it easily connects to my monitor and has a Thunderbolt port that connects to a Mac Mini. I got worried when I saw the picture because I wasn't sure if it would work, but it worked and I'm very happy to have both monitors working again.

Great when it works - ***Updated***

So I bought 2 of these cables to connect 2 24 inch monitors to my 2016 MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, 1 cable failed in just 3 months. The other is still working. I verified it was the cable by reversing the ports it was plugged into on the Mac and swapped monitors. The monitor I connected it to failed, the only similarity was the cable.* **The company contacted me and sent a replacement cable. Everything is all right again!***

FYI I gave 5 stars because I didn't find any cons. This review is for the seller, not the product. I got it for Surface use and the cable works in its USB-C port, although it doesn't specifically state it. I received the cable on time and undamaged and it works as expected. I haven't had to work with customer support so I don't know how good they are. I also didn't bother with the resolution or quality of the video just to make it work. I just upgraded from a 2012 iMac to a new 2019 iMac. I had two VGA monitors connected to a 2012 iMac and wanted to connect them to my new iMac. The old iMac connection was via Mini DisplayPort (to the iMac Thunderbolt 2 port) to a DVI cable (to the back of the VGA monitor).
