Happy with the purchase!

A little heavier than a tripod, but worth it. Very durable and safe. Looks professional and comes with a nice travel case.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Garden tools

Not as I expected. - Camera and photo

I expected more for the money. Even if the device is very heavy, I find it quite cheap. The area of effect of the three head power settings is quite limited. The counterbalance setting is particularly disappointing. All plastics look cheap. Flat leg covers are incredibly difficult to remove and feel like the rubber is about to snap.

Pros
  • A dream come true

Not what I expected.: Complete tripods

For the money I expected more. Even if the device is very heavy, I find it quite cheap. The area of effect of the three head power settings is quite limited. The counterbalance adjustment is particularly disappointing. All plastics look cheap. Flat leg covers are incredibly difficult to remove and feel like the rubber is about to snap.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Embarrassing

I tried the Benro S7 for the first time and was extremely disappointed. It was actually a friction head, although they advertised it as a liquid head. The BV6 is a cut above the S7, the fluid head is immaculate and the legs/spreaders are professional. The only downside to a tripod is that the 504PLong plate used to attach to your camera is made of plastic and doesn't slide into the quick release base as easily as a metal plate. I was able to solve this problem easily since I had a metal. Don't…

Pros
  • Comes with an adjustable/removable center brace for added stability.
Cons
  • Speed

The best tripod I've ever used!

I have been working in television news for over 14 years. I bought this tripod for my personal camera and projects. I have to say this is the best tripod I have ever used in my entire news career. I've worked in big markets with big money and expensive tripods, this tripod beats them all! It's a little heavier than most tripods I've used, but only 25% heavier. With that extra weight comes unrivaled quality and a sense of solidity. I use it with a Canon EOS c100 Mark 2 DSLR which weighs around 5

Pros
  • A complete tripod system specifically designed for use with large, full-size cameras.
Cons
  • Periodicity

Benro BV6 camcorder tripod

We have been looking for a new tripod for about two years. We needed more than just a camera tripod. We needed stability, durability and flexibility. We went through the range from cheap to expensive. From the Ravelli AVTP Professional 75mm moving head camcorder tripod to the Sachtler System FSB 8 moving head with side plate to the Flowtech 75 carbon fiber tripod with center brace and rubber feet. Makes your head spin. How do you learn without experience? Like everyone else, we rely on the…

Pros
  • 3 year limited warranty (extendable to 5 years with online registration).
Cons
  • The list will be long.
