Benson Mills Blossom Pressed Placemat Review

I am very satisfied, the napkins are beautiful and high quality! I've been looking for these silver napkins for the last two years (and could only find the gold set) because I damaged my silver set by spraying cleaner on it. The photo of my dining table is a silver set. A golden set can be seen in the close-up image.

I originally bought these for what they were designed for, which is dinner table napkins. It won't work because the mats have holes and I wasn't trying to ruin my tablecloth. However, they are very pretty with a lovely design, so I use them as decorative rugs instead of dinner napkins.

These napkins were so pretty right out of the box but I don't think I thought about the practicality of the napkins with so many little holes. They are quite difficult to clean and some of the gold paint is peeling off where the food has sat too long. But I feel like I should have expected it. Still a great product, just maybe not because of the wear and tear I've put them through.

I ordered these because I have a wooden table that I want to protect from hot food and I need something pretty. They were great when I first got them but unfortunately only about 2 months old in the gold version they are already starting to wear out badly on one of them and a bit slow on the other three. I didn't do anything with them, I just used them and sometimes washed them with water. I tried to get paint to repaint it but it was difficult to get the right color and the paint didn't hold…

These are great wipes but I got an unexpected surprise - it's not rigid vinyl but vinyl woven into a pattern with tiny holes throughout is . I bought this primarily as a rug to put under a nice white porcelain fountain for my cats to drink from so it was important that it was a water barrier but since it's on a table I can at least use it to To prevent scratching the wood at the bottom of the well, so it's not useless. I just have to be very careful about shedding to keep the wood from warping.
