I recommend this book to anyone who has a burner or is thinking about one! Very informative in a short, easy to read book. So many tips on how to train your dogs and these tips are very effective.

I really liked the easy direction and way of showing steps while reading. After each section there is a simple overview of each team and the training process. Great for a new puppy owner preparing to train a young puppy. This book is very specific to the temperament and mannerisms of the breed.

This is our 1st Bernet but I didn't understand anything about this book and the teaching technique. We have a 10 week old puppy and she will not walk on a leash, plant buns and not exercise. The book only covers puppies that are pulling or trying to lead. I have trained 3 Goldens over the years, they were all well behaved, excellent dogs, but I have never used any of the rigorous methods outlined in this book other than teaching them to walk at your side.
