🔥 Bernzomatic TS8000 - High Intensity Trigger Start Torch, Black: Unmatched Power for Torch Applications Review

I ordered this burner specifically for sous vide meat but ended up using it for everything. It is great for cooking, lighting fires and wood stoves, soldering pipes and launching fireworks. It fires every time the trigger is first pulled and the flame setting is precise. It also works with multiple fuels. It can burn way hotter than any other blowtorch or blowtorch I've ever used. Disappointing! It takes 3 to 15 clicks of the igniter to light this thing. I assumed it was a good product at this price point and worked as advertised but apparently it doesn't. Bought about 10 months ago. Today the PLASTIC failed right under the trigger. This sent a ball of fire through the gap and engulfed all and half of my arm. Works great while it lasts. Ignitor came out last week, I bought it in July 2017. I use it professionally, it comes out maybe once or twice a week. This is the second Bernzomatic burner of this type that I own. This new model generates a lot more heat than my first one. If you've ever had a vortex flame burner, you'll never go back to the tip of a pencil. You can turn off the faucet so you can still reach the tip of the pencil, but you can raise it up for some serious heat and soldering.
