High quality and strength, drill very fast, drill accessories short, documentation poor.

I have an aging concrete road that needs repairs. We had a water leak under the driveway that eroded the bed under the concrete. One of the sections is cracked and bent. This is a small section, about 1 foot square. I plan to use this tool to break it up and re-concrete the area. The supplied pointed chisel is helpful for this. I also plan to run coax cable from my ham radio antenna to my basement radio. I need to drill a hole in the concrete foundation to put the coax cable through. This tool…

Works great on concrete

This is a tool I only use a couple of times a year so I agreed to buy an unknown brand for a fraction of the price. For years I have struggled to drill through concrete with a conventional drill bit and a masonry bit. It changed the rules of the game. We had to drill 32 holes in the concrete bases for the canopy that we put up and it was like drilling oil. Super quick and easy! Strikes without much strain on the hands!

I don't often need something with this clout, but I do a few projects that require concrete and in one case heavy mortar removal. I could rent a larger SDS Max from my local rental shop but they are very heavy and I just didn't like them. With this SDS Plus rotary hammer from Berserker, I am pleased that it is lighter than I would have expected from a device in this class.
