Absolutely horrible connection on the female side

I needed this cable to securely connect to a USB cable that I had to lengthen because it would be hanging down the side of the closet. When I first tried to plug in the cable I thought I was doing it wrong until I realized the plug wouldn't go all the way into the jack. Other extensions I've used in the past allow the connector to be fully inserted and held securely in place; not this one. Not only that, even pushing the cord all the way through leaves a playground (wiggle) so it's easilyโ€ฆ

Do not buy camera

I bought these to run my mic and camera cables from the ceiling. Poorly. Both my Logitech C920 and my handheld camera have a lot of artifacts IF they connect at all. Yes, I have swapped cables with known good ones and such. I had another extension from another device that I put on instead and it works great. So it's definitely those cables. so again. No for webcam. second problem. The female side is a pretty loose tie. It doesn't fall out easily, but if you hit it right, it can come looseโ€ฆ

This is a must have for USB/MIDI keyboards!

I have two sets of two MIDI keyboards on each of two "L" shaped stands. Each cable connects to a multiport USB hub and then to a computer to create music. This simplifies cable labeling and identification. I put a numbered cable marker (from 1 to 4) on each keyboard as well as on the cables at the end of the USB hub. This simplifies and describes my connection of each keyboard to the hub and computer for easy instant identification and routing. These cables are long enough to get the job doneโ€ฆ

Used for USB power extension

I have several security IP cameras that don't support PoE (lame!) but the stem connector is different and not very long. Instead of replacing this cable and hoping I can connect one in the same way as the probably non-standard cable, I decided to extend the USB end of the power cord. stuck them on my cameras, everything worked without problems. I haven't tried running any data through them.
