The product is exactly what I expected. The sensor is well made and doesn't look cheap. I would recommend this item to anyone who needs a digital force gauge.

Works well as a trigger pull indicator. However, this doesn't allow you to simply reset absolute zero when adding an extension; The null function just clears the screen. (Example: if I hang a 2 lb weight on the hook, it actually weighs 2.18 lbs, and if I add the extension it's 2.26 lbs.) It would also be nice if fractions of a pound turned into ounces would be displayed. (Example: 2 lb 8 oz is 2.5 lb on this device.)

The meter comes with multiple nozzles. There is nothing in the kit for large bow handles, such as on the bathroom door. I used a small loop of cable to wrap around the handle and make room for the hook. I use this gauge to measure pull/push resistance for self-closing ADA complaint doors (5 lbs or less). Works perfectly. Take a few measurements. This is a precision instrument and human error can make a world of difference.

The product is affordable. The documentation is difficult to understand and full of typos. The product will read 0.0 until a force of +5N or -5N is applied. This dead zone is very frustrating as the readings are accurate to within 0.1N at high forces. However, if you choose the factory calibration in the settings (overwrites any zeroing of the sensor), my device is set to an offset of 32.9N. Because of this offset, I can measure smaller forces. I've been using this force sensor in my company for a little over a year. Within the first 2 weeks of use I pulled up to 22 pounds of force and the screen froze. The ON/OFF button did not work to reset the force sensor. I had to let the battery die before I could reset it. The force sensor freezes every few hours of operation.
