🚲 Tek Bike Light Lumina Adapter Mount: Optimal Compatibility with NiteRider Lumina, Mako Series, and Garmin Computer Mount – A Must-Have Accessory Review

Cheap and easy way to install Niterider lights on Giro helmets or upgrade to professional mounts. This mount is strong. I've hit tree branches at full speed and this mount hasn't snapped.

Great price, easy to put on and take off but still very reliable. Bought to use with my old MiNewt 250 and Best Tek Out front Garmin/camera mount. Replaces the MiNewt handlebar mount and creates more space on the handlebar.

I originally used the wrong length Go Pro screw and it would not tighten. Be sure to pick the right screw and it works great. It's great to use the Go Pro mount for the NiteRider, especially on a helmet. A screw may be supplied with an adapter.

The GoPro hinge material is too thin and does not provide enough tension to provide adequate friction. Even when I tightened the screw as hard as I could (needed pliers to loosen it), the light still slipped and wouldn't hold its position. I had to add the little white backing stickers that come with 3 hole perforated paper and after adding about 10 on all sides there was just enough friction to keep the light in place. Haven't used this in the field yet so hope it works well.

My NR Lunina 350 fits perfectly with this adapter - Dovetail fits well - Solid and stable fit. The spot is too thin for the light to pop after the jump from curbs, over potholes, etc. could not slip off. Too much vibration and your headlight will fall and hit the ground. Easily solved with a (green) rubber strap and 5 months of daily driving with no problems with NR Lumina falling off the adapter. Working. Has only lasted 5 months with reliable hold (installed/removed the light more than 5 times a day). I have to say I replaced it. Every time I ran into a hard bump the light would fly away, the plastic was tired/aged. The lifetime value of the product is not worth the ransom. The Niterider screw mount is the most durable, too bad it's no longer backlit. The silicone wristband type moves too much. BOTH take up a lot of space on the steering wheel. I still like it better than the aluminum…

Fits perfectly in the K-Edge mount and the light slides well into the adapter too. On the 1st ride itself, when I was doing a long descent, the light went off the adapter and rolled quite a way down the hill and into the bushes. I spent 15 minutes trying to find it and thankfully I managed and the light was still working fine. Kudos to the durability of the Nite Rider flashlight as it took a lot of damage.
