Extension works great just note the connector is not as flat as I expected. I found the product on a Revain search for "Low Profile Power Extensions" and when it arrived I was surprised to find it sticking out 3/4 inch (see photo) and worried it wouldn't get behind my bookshelf fits. Luckily it fits, but I figured others might like heads-up.

(1) Plugs too close together resulting in 3 or 4 sockets instead of 6 for all but the smallest plugs. (2) The black color makes it difficult to "find holes" when connecting in low light conditions, e.g. B. under a bedside table. (3) Worst: After two years of use, the switch broke, rendering the strip unusable. How hard is it to make a toggle switch that just works?

I have this surge protector to set up and protect my wireless router. I needed protection with jacks set at 90 degrees because the plugs for the router parts are sooo long which is ridiculous and I wanted a short surge protector to keep the room clean. This one does its job well. I set it up with a timer for a couple of weeks to shut down the system when I wasn't using it and I was pleased that everything ran smoothly. Usually there is not much to say about a splitter. What I love about it is that the cord coming from the wall exits the plug parallel to the wall instead of perpendicular, making it a great extension for outlets behind furniture. Unfortunately, it exits at the bottom, meaning you'll have to plug it into the bottom port if you don't want to block both exits. Wall wart-style power supplies on it, but the super-sized ones won't want to be next to each other.
