Nice shower upgrade

Replaces the old shower bracket. The flange is better than the one it replaced. I connected a rain shower head to it. Definite upgrade. Looks great.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Topics are a bit silly with some titles. Maybe this is a coating, or it's not quite the DNR. Very durable, especially compared to the cheap ones sold in big hardware stores.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...

The perfect accessory for your satin gold shower head

Our new shower head needed an extension and this is just the ticket. The color was a very nice satin gold and the product appeared durable and of good quality. Came with a roll of teflon tape, thought it was nice.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost never

Great alternative, great price

The finish isn't perfect for my bronze Delta Champagne showerhead, but it's pretty damn close. In terms of savings compared to the Delta alternative, it has paid off in full. The quality is excellent. Feels really strong and the threads are smooth.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Threads not working - plumbing work

The shower bracket looks good but the threads weren't cut deep enough. This means I was only able to do 1 full turn when screwing the lever in, which is not enough to ensure a tight seal. Both ends were the same. I confirmed the thread pitch was correct, it just wasn't fully threaded. I missed the return window by a couple of days so now I have a good bronzed paperweight rubbed with oil.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Quality product for showers and shower parts

I used this to replace a previously installed 5" extension. The 8" extension has a highly polished chrome finish and the inside of the rear flange cap had a rubber boot for a good seal. The 8" extension itself was the best length to prevent water backing onto the shower arm/wall drips when the shower is off I'm ordering another one for my second bathroom.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Almost perfect: plumbing

In general, a good product. The only problem was that the threaded end connected to the shower head was sharp and cut into the rubber grommet on the shower head and broke the seal causing water to leak out. I could flip it, but every contractor I've spoken to has advised me that proper installation should consist of attaching the longer end to the wall. There was a shorter end (with a sharp end) to connect to the shower head. To fix this I had to replace the rubber grommet and use teflon tape…

Pros
  • certificate GOLS
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
