I needed another set of XLR cables after buying a set of Martin Logal ESL X speakers, which can (and seem to need to) be bi-directional, my latest speakers (Wilson Audia Sophia) allowed and did not need a two-channel amplifier. Update: I've been using this cable for a while, just changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars! The whole system was turned on and baked for a day. The pretty front soundstage with the old cable has literally "shifted" and opened up with the new cable. The speakers are definitely gone completely. The sound is very thin, detailed and fast. These are solid cables. They're well built, attractive, and loaded with just the right amount of catchphrase and snake oil to satisfy any audiophile still clinging to a rational plan.
