I bought white curtains (grey white, not pure white) about a month ago. As someone who lives in a very sunny area, they block the sunlight completely! They came crumpled but they are very soft! My cat likes to sit by the window and hair collects on the black edge of the curtains. However, I bought the curtains for the quality of the blackout and they are perfect in that regard, so I highly recommend these curtains!

Such poor quality is hard to imagine. First, it doesn't have 100% shading, and second, the length of the two parts isn't the same. One side of the curtain could be 45 1/2" long and the opposite side would be 47". Worst of all, the curtain gives off a strong chemical smell, an industrial smell. It has to be formaldehyde. If it is hung up at home, it must be harmful to the body. DO NOT BUY!

I needed something to darken my bedroom during the day and they fitted perfectly. The fabric is of excellent quality, the additional black layer does its job perfectly, the seams are sewn well. They are quite heavy so for longer sizes make sure your curtain rod can support them. However, my window was 3x7 and my cheap $20 aluminum bar did a great job. Totally satisfied with the purchase. Our bedroom window faces west and where we live there is no light until ten o'clock at night. I wanted to black out our room and they are amazing in that regard. The only advice I can give to seekers of total darkness is to put a cornice on the ceiling. This allows the curtains to be closer to the window.
