Luckily I have had to cut 1/2 inch drywall with a hole saw so far. I bought a real saw arbor with pins and the "correct" pin holes in the saw are not in the right position. Terrible quality control. If I need to drill into something rigid this can be a problem. I bet if I paid for the return postage the replacement wouldn't be in the middle either. Shame.

This is a better quality hole saw than I really need but will last forever. I used to be an electrician on a construction site and was used to buying quality tools. Needed to install an exhaust fan that requires a 6" hole. I chose the Klein Tools brand because I've always had good luck with their products. I used my Milwaukee Arbor and it fit perfectly. I had to drill through the aluminum paneling in the attic. I had to run this backwards to get through the siding first.
