Cuts well but has a weak spine.

The blade is sharp and cuts well. Like all great circular saws, this one is tangible. If this happens, you'd better hold the drill motor tight. As he grabbed it, he bent the shaft shown in the picture. Low Steel. Luckily I had a matching one. A spring-loaded ejection assistant is a good idea, but not strong enough for thick slugs of wood.

Pros
  • Hole saws
Cons
  • Long feed

Waste of money - Hole saws and accessories

Bought to install can lighting on a new assembly, obviously that's junk. The teeth are too coarse to even cut drywall without hanging. My 20 volt drill would nearly break my wrist every time it caught on a truss or beam. Replaced with a Milwaukee hole saw and it runs smooth as a baby. Overspend, keep yourself from aggravating.

Pros
  • Hole saws and accessories
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Good for drywall Hole Saws and Accessories

This is a good hole saw for cutting drywall. I needed a hole saw to cut holes in my drywall to add "can" style LED lighting and didn't want to cut them all out with a drywall hand saw. This hole saw is up to the job and works well with drywall. I have several smaller, more powerful, quality hole saws from companies like Milwaukee, but they are a bit pricey. Not sure how this hole saw will hold up to tougher woodwork, but it's good enough for drywall.

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • I will add later
