Cheap but not durable

I used a saw to cut holes in 3/16" steel and it made 1.25 holes before it became too dull to cut. I was hoping for 2 holes (which I need) but ended up having to buy another saw locally. For the price it was good value but only one figure for a hole in the metal.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Great Value!: Power Tool Parts & Accessories

The hole saw is a lot stronger than I thought given the price. It worked great for the job I was doing and I still have a nice sharp hole saw for future use. The only downside I found was having to scrape paint off the arbor threads to screw them in. never mind

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

It won't last. You need a good drill.

So here's the thing, for my money it was excellent and cut a 6 inch hole. But I started out with a smaller Dewalt hand drill without a hammer drill, and that killed this drill. Talking smoking engine and drill in the garbage. A larger impact drill worked well with the tool, but it took some effort to hold. Eventually he only reached the aluminum siding and cut through only one wall before the teeth broke off. But hey, I have a hood so I can't whine too much.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power
