I purchased this item a few years ago. I was going to redeem the exact same model but got 4 cups which is about 1/3 the size of the cup I bought 2 years ago. How can it be? Both are 4 cup mokas. Extremely upset. I'm coming back and going to the bricks and mortar because I'm tired of what looks like a bait and a substitute.

I don't know why but this kettle doesn't work properly. It doesn't match how quickly I complete it day after day. It actually burned the coffee today because while the coffee was still coming out of the stem the rest was simmering. I've never had any problems with this brand. I had the old style until I bought this one. I also have this style in Cup 6 and it works great.

Looks better and healthier than the Bialetti aluminum version in my opinion. Remember that the size 4 cups are espresso cups. My only disappointment is that it doesn't work on my Duxtop induction cooker. I think the base is so small that the Duxtop sensor doesn't detect it. My experience has led me to purchase the 6 cup version in the future.

Just so you know this model is made in India and will not exactly match the photos you see here. At first I thought that was normal, but when I put the two parts together, for example, I noticed that the quality was significantly worse than the original old model, which I think was made in Italy. So I sent it back as I don't think it's worth the price you pay here. But I guess there's no other way to get hold of this particular model and it still does the job (but might be breaking down sooner…

Stainless steel inside and out, but inside is an open jagged edge for rust to ooze out and into the coffee. I was horrified to find this out after following the directions to the letter and brewing a few extra cups to clean it up. I wiped most of the rust off to see if that would help, but the exposed metal edge still lets rust through. You can see in my photos…
