It's okay, not great.

For removing the Race Face Cinch BB bottom bracket. That's normal for a price like this. Cons - The edges of the key handle are not rounded. - The key length is a little short for good leverage. Advantages - tight fit on the bottom bracket - price

Does the job - Cycling

Does the job. You can only partially turn this wrench before the handle touches the chainstays. However, it is inexpensive for the home bike mechanic.

Cons

Soft but does the job.

It's not the best tool but for the price it gets the job done. The metal is soft, which is both a good and a bad thing. This is bad because it doesn't last for years, but it's good because it lets you know when you're over-tightening the slide. If you're looking for a tool that will last for decades, check out Park Tools' version. If you're looking to save some money and only do occasional maintenance, this is your blueberry. Overall a solid three stars.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Quick start guide

May or may not work with BSA30 but problem with UBB rotor

Description says it works with BSA30 rotor. what it does, sort of. The BB cups are a bit tapered and I couldn't get the first 1/3 of the front of the cups to hook. As a result, the key easily slips off when tightening. I got around this by using a bearing press with giant shims to secure the key to the BB cup to keep it from slipping off. Otherwise it's pretty well made, just wish it would fit properly.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Cheap but not great

Like all BB tools, when you get the specific job you need the tool for, this is the tool you need for the job. I like that the metal is thick enough that it doesn't slip off the BB shell when trying to take it off (this is a problem with Park BB tools). And it's cheap. So if you're like me buying about 5 different BB removal tools due to the silly amount of proprietary standards in the industry, it's nice to be able to get the right tool for $10. My only concern is that this thing only has a…

Perfect DUB bottom bracket tool for home mechanics

If you are planning to install/remove a DUB threaded bottom bracket (BSA) then you will need a special tool to fit the slots properly. Park Tool is great for this purpose, but costs around $30. This very simple tool does the job perfectly. Given that I'll probably only be using this tool for a year or two, I just can't justify using the $30 Park tool. Note that you MUST use a torque wrench to properly tighten the bottom bracket shells into the frame. This tool obviously does not work with a…
