My mom has macular degeneration and she can only see these cards. We enjoy hours of poker with her and she has a great time. These cards are easy to shuffle and handle, and they don't last forever, but they do last for a few games and many, many hours in circulation. It would be great if they were all plastic, but it's too expensive. Thank you Bicycle for thinking of the elderly and people with vision problems and illnesses.

The cards were the right size but they were very difficult to use for a group of elderly ladies (in their 80's and 90's) in the seniors facility. We've played cards all our lives and it was hard for us to get to a card without as many symbols as the 5 of Clubs that didn't have 5 symbols. Also, we couldn't tell 9 from 6 or vice versa. Item no. CURRENTLY . It's hard to figure out what kind of card it is. This is the king - but of what? You have to keep shuffling the cards to see what the heck it is. Okay, it's a RED K, but...
