The pliers made changing the chain a lot easier, why did I wait to buy? Good to close, good to open. I wish the meter had an option to show 50% circuit usage. At 10 speed and up I'd replace them while waiting for 7-8-9 speed chains at 75%.

Chain tensioner 0.75 and 1.0. it is too late. I had to look at the photos. .5 and .75 are the standard between "time for a chain change" and "you're damaging your drivetrain". JOB; his warning came too late. The links work (I've tried), the pincer works on speed 7 and speed 9. I haven't tried on 10.

I used one of the drive links that came with the pliers, but the levers that pull or extend the chain are too thick for a 10 speed chain. I'm going to file those teeth (arms) a little thinner and I think it will work really well. Please take this into account when ordering. They work with the wider 7 speed chain as is.

Don't be fooled by Revain Choice, it's not a quality product and you don't have to settle for customer service. Not to mention the safety of using it.

Of course, too long is better than too short.
