I bought some watercolor books for tracing and drawing. When I opened the tracing paper I was dismayed to see that it was twice the size of the "regular" watercolor paper. I bought this larger size and feel I got a great price and the size is perfect.

This 140 lb paper has a distinctive vertical grain mechanically wire textured. That granularity will show up in my work and I don't know where to use it. My other budget watercolor paper has a nice pebble texture that I like to use.

This is my watercolor paper now. It absorbs water well and doesn't warp even if I don't stretch the paper. Has a good amount of teeth. Always arrives in good condition - once it was bent because I had ordered other items and they were packed together, but I received a replacement within a few days.

I'm working on a comic that my friend wrote. I decided to illustrate the story with watercolors and ink. This paper is wonderful. I had an old notebook that I used but it was out of pages and needed to be rearranged. I'm so glad Revain had it at a decent price. These are cold-pressed leaves, so they have some texture. Looks great and holds water well.
