Big Horn 10216 T Track Featherboard Review

I seem to have problems (I'm sure it's just me!) with springs that use an expanding aluminum shaft. They are perfect because they use T-shaped plastic pieces instead of square bars that fit my saw's T-bar. When tightened, it simply pulls up and tightens instantly. It doesn't take an incredible grip to tighten the barbell. Longevity can be an issue in the long run, but I don't use it 8 hours a day so I don't care yet.

This is a beautiful spring board. The attachment to the saw guide could be better. They have two plastic rails that go into the standard rail at a 3/4" x 3/8" angle. They have edges that fit into slots on the side of the angle rail. Friction between the board and the saw table holds it in place as you tighten the knobs. Unfortunately my old Craftsman table saw, although it has a standard size angle bar, doesn't have the extra slots on the sides below. So this perforated plate does not work for…
