Fits all needs - woodworking kits

These guardrail clips are simple, easy to service and fit my attachment and secondary guardrail needs very well. I will buy more if needed.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some bugs

Excellent purchase! in Power & Hand Tools

Added a router to my table saw and used clamps to hold the fence I made for the router. You can simply order another pair for another project. Really worth the money!

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall
Cons

The fully open jaw is too narrow for my 31/4 " wide fence.

Great idea. I did not return it to the seller but they will not work for my fence as they are too narrow. Be sure to measure the thickness of your fence, including the sacrificial fence they will be inserted into.

Pros
  • Classy Design
Cons

This requires a THICK fence.

I bought these to add a sacrificial guard to my table saw guard. Unfortunately, they are designed for a thick fence and do not fit the fence on my Metabo table saw. Must buy the Rockler version. I suppose if you have a thick aftermarket fence this might work. May be.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Weight

Not good. The design and/or metal is not up to the task.

Might ONLY fit the same size fence. Ladders or fences higher than the clamp are not suitable. The metal is too flexible even with light to moderate compression. This will cause the metal to bend backwards and the underside of the guard will come off flush. Placing the bolt higher on the clamp would result in much less deflection, if any, in the metal.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good little clamp for the price

I think I'm one of those people who loves woodworking tools and all the accessories that go with them. Haven't used them yet just tossed them but looked them up in a woodworking catalog at a higher price for just one and then saw them at a lower price and you have two (which you need) which I bought to use them too accessories to add to my collection. I think they will persevere and do just as good a job as the others.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Very useful but not very powerful.

The advantage of this clamp is that it fits into a hole on the edge of the item to be clamped rather than being in the way from above. However, the downside is that it's not stiff enough to withstand much clamping pressure. The thin steel body is too flexible. In addition, small handles still do not allow to turn it with great effort. With moderate clamping force, the frame will flex about 1/4 inch. Of course, you probably won't use these clamps for anything that requires a lot of pressure, but

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
