Several marine mechanics have told me that after blowing off the helical coil on my Mercury 125 marine engine I could only weld the head. When I took the boat to the welder he quoted me over $3,000. I did a little research and found a big sert kit that ended up saving me thousands of dollars. The kit worked perfectly. My only regret is that I wasn't aware of Time-Sert before using the Coiled Coil.

I was really skeptical about repairing a previously repaired whole spark plug. I seriously considered taking the head out, repairing and restoring it.
